Our new t-shirt is about Panathinaikos and one of the most important nights of Greek football! It was April 3, 1996 when Panathinaikos achieved a huge victory against the mighty Ajax in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final.
It is a goal that was warmly celebrated by every football-loving Greek that night. Juan Ramon Rocha's Panathinaikos escaped from the historic "De Meer" and "Amsterdam was freezing", as described by Christos Sotirakopoulos for MEGA in an equally historic journalistic depiction of the phase. The race of Donis, the place of Warzycha and the "uncomfortable" celebration of the Pole. Pure, unadulterated football from the... deep 90's!
Our new design is dominated by 1996, the date of the match and, of course, Warzycha's ultimate and ultimate place before the great Van der Sar! Make it yours now at ballersland.com!
