Children of Piraeus

Children of Piraeus

A new collection dedicated to the "red and white" passion, to the hardworking DNA, to the pride of the "Children of Piraeus"! In our own land, the land of balladers, Olympiacos, the team from Piraeus, with its countless friends and huge successes in all sports, could not have a place. Like any club, Olympiacos is a local phenomenon, which gradually grows, to acquire - in this case - global dimensions! Olympiacos is therefore the main sports representative of the working class and popular masses of Piraeus, as a counterweight to the urbanites of Athens, at the beginning of the previous century. His "bottom-up" contribution created a strong DNA, which is preserved even as an idea, even after 100 years.

The scene from the movie "Never on Sunday" with Melina Merkouri performing "Children of Piraeus", in front of the image of the heroes of the "Legend" group, but also the epic photos of the time with Sideris, Yfanti, Bebi, Rossidis, Theodoridis and other huge players of the time, were the fuse for the first designs of the series to be born!

The first of these is the project of the same name "The Children of Piraeus". Olympiacos players wearing the traditional "red-white" and striped jersey enter the dry pitch, carrying the dreams and demands of the people they left behind a few minutes ago. Inextricably bound ties, far from modern football. The jersey clean for some, for others dirty, distressed, soaked in the demands of the race, but also of life itself. Their proud attitude, full of self-confidence, testifies to the levity of the "Children of Piraeus".

The first design in the series is a tribute to the players who turned Olympiacos into a "Legend"! We couldn't have started any other way. Stay tuned...
